KISS bassist Gene Simmons is offering fans an exclusive opportunity during his upcoming tour with The Gene Simmons Band. Through “The Ultimate Gene Simmons Experience,” fans can act as his “personal assistant and band roadie” for a day, assisting with load-in, stage setup, and enjoying backstage access, including a meal with Simmons and an introduction during the gig. The package costs $12,495 in addition to the original ticket price, and is limited to one fan per venue, and the experience includes a bass guitar previously used by KISS. Another package, the “Gene Simmons Bass Experience,” allows a fan and three guests to meet Simmons backstage and purchase one of his bass guitars for $6,500 or $12,500, depending on whether it was once played on stage. Simmons’ tour is scheduled for 19 dates throughout the U.S. in April and May, kicking off on April 3 in Anaheim, and winding down on May 24 in Houston. (People)
