Roots N Blues has been a huge impact on the Columbia community for over a decade, bringing in thousands to downtown Como. Last year’s closure due to COVID-19 created a halt not only to the Fest’s revenue, but to the entire community. Now, you have a chance to show your support for the Fest and help it continue its mission of bringing world-class music, art, and food to Mid-Missouri. Here is a note regarding COVID-19 safety procedures from the owners of the fest:

In order to comfortably and confidently produce a safe event in 2021, we believe it is right and necessary to require proof of full vaccination against Covid 19, or a negative Covid 19 test obtained less than 72 hours before entry to the 2021 Roots N Blues Festival. This includes all pass holders and all of our on-site working personnel.

We trust health care professionals. The health of our community is our first priority. The safest way to enjoy live music right now is to be vaccinated against COVID-19. To ensure that Roots N Blues will be a lasting tradition, we ask the following of all attendees:

Bring these items with you to the festival:

   1. Valid government-issued ID

   2. Proof of Vaccination

If you are unable to provide proof of vaccination, a negative test obtained less than 72 hours before entry is required. Children will also need a negative test for entry.

It is recommended that ALL attendees, regardless of vaccination status, obtain a negative test before entering.

We appreciate your support and encourage you to share this information with your staff members, family, and friends.
With sincere appreciation,
Shay Jasper, Tracy Lane, and Jamie Varvaro
